Yesterday was Valentine's Day. I think it went pretty well. I started out at the High School to work on my poems for forensics. Then I came to High Point. I set my stuff down at my desk then went and found my boyfriend. He wasn't happy he didn't put what he got me on my desk before I came to school. He was having fun playing with legos. After he put what he got me for Valentines day on my desk he came and got me so I could see. He got me 2 roses one red and one white, a teddy bear holding a heart that says "I love you", a little box of chocolate and a card. I was surprised he gave that much.
I gave him a card I made and a small teddy bear. No I wasn't going cheep if anyone is wondering I had this really cool idea I wanted to do I just didn't go to the store to go get stuff. Usually when I did go I didn't have time to look and get stuff.
Later that day we went to Tomah for the forensics competition. I read my poems on the first round and I even made friends. On the second round we made it a game...we tried to find the words that we swapped, the lines we forgot to say before, and other silly things. Also during the second round while the judge was writing and we were waiting we asked each other questions. It was funny I asked what everyone's favorite animal was. They told me theirs and then I told them mine was a bat. They flipped. I had to explain why I liked them.
On the last round my Mom, Dad, and little sister were in the room. I was the last one to go only because the judge let us pick what order we wanted to go in. While we were waiting for two people in our group the other five of us picked what place we wanted to go this round. I think the first round was the best, the second round was ok, and the third round was a little better than my second round but not much. We got our scores about an hour later. I didn't move to the next level. But oh well I had fun, I made friends, and I enjoyed myself.
When we got home we got out Valentines gifts from Dad. I got a little lion, and hard candies, I got heart suckers, and a really funny card. I loved them.
After that Mom and I went to Walmart to get a few things and then we went home. I was too tired to do anything so I didn't do my homework. I went and watched a little bit of TV with my Mom and Sister then I got ready for bed and went to bed.
Right now I am at school writing this and about to go back to math homework so I have it done for class when it comes. I hope you enjoyed reading this. Please comment.

Its kind of a weird feeling though getting stuff from other people on Valentines day. Usually I only get stuff from Dad.
